Countdown to the new Malta Aircraft Register.
Although it is already possible to register Aircraft in Malta, the introduction of new legislation to regulate Aircraft Registration in Malta is expected in January 2010. This will catapult the Malta Aircraft Register to the forefront or aircraft registration. With this legislation, as well as with the enthusiastic support of the Maltese Government and the Department of Civil Aviation Malta will be well positioned to become known for the safest, yet most competitive aircraft registration and operator licensing infrastructure in the aircraft registration and business aviation market.
